Underhero - A Silly Adventure RPG Game

Underhero is an intriguing 2D side-scroller RPG adventure game with timing-based combat. The game is developed by Paper Castle Games and is available on the Play Station 4 platform. The game's story is inspired by Paper Mario games and RPGs and is full of silly characters, quirky dialogue, and lots of weird humor.

The game revolves around a world where the chosen hero has failed, and an underling of the main villain takes his place as the new "hero." You will play as the little Masked Kid and join the magical hilt Elizabeth the IV to restore Elizabeth's long-lost power. Together, you will defeat the tyrannical Mr. Stitches and save the world once and for all!

Underhero features turn-based combat with a twist and timing-based combat. You can attack to the beat of the music to chain rhythm combos. The game also has enemies that consider you their ally, so you can talk to them. The game's soundtrack is composed by Stijn van Wakeren and is wonderful. The game has mini-games, side-quests, light puzzle elements, some good old platforming, fun and intense boss battles, and is a satire of RPG tropes. It is a story shrouded in mystery, and the evolving HUB world is full of characters.
